Описание условий освоения курса

Virtualization for many companies become solution to get virtually any IT infrastructure without changing the hardware.

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the key virtualization techniques and the application of virtualization technology in the design and evaluation of modern computer systems, including cloud computing.

Students will become familiar with the main areas of virtualization, such as:

- Server Virtualization

- Local Desktop Virtualization

- Remote Desktop Virtualization

For practical exercises using solutions from Microsoft

Students will learn to:

- Build a fault tolerant server virtual infrastructure

- Complete  basic operations on its operation

- Deploy a virtual desktop infrastructure

- Deploy a private cloud

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of virtualization and how to use these or other solutions in various practice areas.

Students will be provided with: review materials virtualization; detailed description of virtualization IT - infrastructure offered Microsoft; practical guidelines and tasks for configuring virtualization solutions, creating virtual machines and networks.

Thus, this course may be recommended wishing to learn the basics of virtualization, and technological opportunities, provide solutions Microsoft.

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of virtualization and how to use these or other solutions in various practice areas.

Directions and training programs:

-  Business Informatics (program "International electronic business";

-  Applied Informatics (program “It innovations in the business”, “Applied Informatics in analytical and computational economy”).

 Forms of education:

-  full-time, part-time, correspondence.

 Technologies and techniques of training:

1. Traditional and distance learning technologies.

2. Mixed technology for students of full-time study.

3. Independent study of the course and individual modules.

4. Organization of the simultaneous learning of multiple disciplines in computer class.

5. The organization of regular interaction with students in the learning process through e-learning system "HyperMethod" and using synchronous and asynchronous mode of communication with the student. Gradual and successive formation of educational activities with elements of problem and project-based learning is supposed.
